Art and Technology

This project was a bit difficult to get done.   I myself had a lot of trouble finding a Xerox machine to begin with.   Once I found the machine in the library, I copied my face, arm, hand, and foot.   After cutting out the black and white pictures I glued them together in a symmetrical way.   I used two pictures of my face in the middle to create the body of my artwork.   Then I took two of my arms to make a base and a top to the work.   My hands and feet were set up around my arms to create the symmetrical piece.   I wanted to make sure that my artwork did not look random. I wanted the project to be pleasant to look at.   Although the project was pretty difficult to get done due to the lack of Xerox machines, I ended up having a great time making my project.

Before making my project, I was very confused on what to do.   I decided to use Microsoft Excel which I found to be very easy. I used some of my favorite colors: green, orange, yellow, red, and a shade of purple.   For yellow, red, orange, and purple I used a two-block width which was different than the green which I used a five-block width. The project was a 30 by 30 grid with diagonal stripes. After I made my grid, I noticed that there was an issue with my project.   The grid was in the shape of a rectangle.   I went through each column of the grid and changed the width from .16 to .50 which made it look like more of a square.   All in all, I believe that my project ended up being a success and I hope to learn more about the subject.

The technology put into basketball sneakers is unlike any other shoes.   Basketball shoes used to be very flatfooted and had no traction on the court. This led to many injuries which damaged teams. Today basketball sneakers have different technologies that help the health of players.   When they land on the ground after jumping, their knees take less pressure. When the players cut from side to side, they now have full traction and rarely slip.   The shoes are super light. The players feet now have no blisters after a hard-fought game.   Their valuable feet are now cushioned by only the best fabrics and cushioning.   The shoes have gels in the sole that lowers the force put on the players legs. This is all because of the health of the players.   They have tons of money invested into them, so these companies do their best to keep them away from injury.   The fans see Lebron James on the court wearing the newest Nike sneakers and they want to be just like him on the cour
